Light in B Minor consists of four speakers, each wired directly to the transformer of a corresponding florescent light fixture via a contact microphone which picks up and amplifies the electrical current supplied to the light tubes. The light fixtures are then controlled through individual electronic dimmer switches by a micro-processor programed to orchestrate the lights into a melodic composition.
