The Utter Project is a 10 channel sound installation created for the International Art Fairs in collaboration with Derek Cote. The installation utilizes the main façade/entrance as a canvas to create a site-specific installation that engages the public audibly, as well as physically, upon approaching and entering the venue. The two part audio installation examines and interprets, experiences related to a large scale art venue through a form of language. Much in the same way that language is comprised of a delicate relationship of individual sounds to create speech, this soundscape composes a symphony of individual sounds creating an organic narrative. |
